There are bird feeders at three separate locations in the park during the winter months that keep a considerable number of common backyard and eastern woodland birds around the park.
The area is also home to a number of different species of hawks and eagles, making them a common sight.
Hiking trails in the park are clearly marked and have a difficulty rating of easy to very easy, and would be more aptly named walking trails.
In addition to bird watching, the park’s paved roads and easy trails are suitable for jogging, and there is a nature center for children.
The park is comprised of three old farms that were acquired by Baltimore County and is well maintained and manicured in appearance.
