The Glen at Towson

The Glen is a tiny patch of woods inside the campus of Towson University, and there are a number of wild creatures that live in these woods, seemingly unmindful of the humans all around them.

Hawks patrol the treetops of the Glen, while feral cats prowl for rodents and birds. It is a miniature wild environment right in the middle of an urban area; not at all unusual for Maryland’s wooded patches, or the rest of the eastern United States.

These feral cats are fun to watch, and I’m always happy to catch one in the lens of my camera.
