These are a few more photos from my sunrise visit to Loch Raven Reservoir on October 6, 2014. These were taken when the Sun was about 20 degrees above the horizon and it was really lighting up this dew covered field.
The sunlight hitting the water droplets created a prism effect that I couldn’t seem to capture with my camera. I haven’t learned how to set up my camera to best capture refracted light, but I’m reading up on that.
Still, I caught some decent shots of grasses, weeds, and berries covered in dew. I’m also working on trying to identify everything I shoot, but that is a bit of a chore.
